Les Vilains sound somewhat like the good French bands from the mid-eighties, and when listening to the first 2 songs of this CD EP, Brutal Combat sure comes to mind. Both songs are sung in French. The third song is in Flemish slang and is basically a joke. It's the band's hello to their fans from the city of Bruges. A limited edition of 500 copies only.

Les Vilains sound somewhat like the good French bands from the mid-eighties, and especially when listening to the first 2 songs of the "Belgique hooligans" SCD, Brutal Combat sure comes to mind. Both songs are sung in French. The third song is in Flemish slang and is basically a joke. It's the band's hello to their fans from the city of Bruges.

Les Vilains started out in 1997, and actually started off as a joke. Any band that played Belgium in those years will remember some guy getting on stage and starting to sing some songs on his own. Well, that was him, the Vilains' singer, Suck (no, it's not what you think!).

Because of the success of the first CD, they started taking things more seriously. Although often considered an RAC band, the band rather consider themselves as an Oi band, but a politically incorrect one, a real skinhead band in short!

Since the start the band has gone through a lot of line-up changes, first with Gabber-Tim leaving to concentrate on his studies, then Fredje / Tichke for family reasons and finally Schimmel who got thrown out of the band because of a lack of dedication. The actual line-up (summer of 2003) consist of Suck (vocals), Rianne (backing vocals), Kris (lead guitar), Dieter (rhythm guitar and backing vocals), Olivier (bass) and Nysie (drums).

Although the band hasn't played too many shows, they can boost having played with some of the best-known bands around : Condemned 84, Section 5, Brutal Attack, Bagadou Stourm, Headcase, Legion Of St George, Menace, Vicious Rumours, The Crack, Celtic Warrior, Mistreat, Steelcapped Strength, English Rose, Kampfzone, On File, The Warriors, The Pride, Super Yob, Offside, Trouble Makers, Hardsell, and so on....
